Chief of House Home

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 3, 2026

This policy explains what Chief of House collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run your membership well.

What we collect

Contact details (name, email, phone); property and Home File details (address, home systems, preferences, pets, household); sensitive access information you choose to share (gate, garage, or alarm details); the content of your messages with us; and payment information, which is handled by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To provide the service: triaging requests, sourcing and dispatching providers, scheduling, billing, and keeping your Home File current. We also use it to communicate with you about your requests and account.

How we share it

We share the minimum necessary with service providers we dispatch on your behalf, and with the vendors that power the service: Stripe (payments), our SMS provider (messaging), Supabase (hosting and database), and Resend (email). We do not sell your personal information.

How we protect it

Access codes and other sensitive entry details are encrypted at rest and revealed only to authorized staff on a need-to-know basis, with each access recorded. Access to member data is restricted by role.

Text messaging

With your consent we send service-related texts; we record when consent was given. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

Retention

We keep your information for as long as you are a member and as needed afterward for legal, tax, and operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can manage billing in your portal and opt out of texts with STOP.
